The size and structure of the team means you will enjoy a client facing role and be exposed to all areas of non-contentious commercial work.
The team is instructed to review, interpret, draft and negotiate on a wide variety of commercial contracts in different sectors on behalf of a range of clients from start-ups to FTSE 100 companies and global groups.
Typical instructions include:
- Terms of Business (trade to trade and trade to consumer)
- Distribution & Supply Agreements
- IT & Technology (supply, support and maintenance)
- Cross Border, Import and Export Regulations
- EU & Competition issues
- Joint Ventures
- Brand Protection and IP
The nature of the role is suited to a commercial specialist with between 2-6 years’ PQE. Experience in all the areas above is not essential but the team is looking to appoint a high calibre lawyer with a solid grounding and experience in non-contentious commercial instructions.
As well as enjoying direct contact with clients, you will also form part of multi-disciplinary teams with the corporate and employment team to meet client requirements on larger projects.
