The Firm

A leading UK law Firm with a network of offices from the South Coast to Scotland, working together as one national team. An innovative practice and the first top 100 law firm to achieve “Gold Standard”. Investors in People, the Firm’s values and culture are not just words on their website but are the heartbeat of the Firm. The lack of barriers between departments, a real lack of hierarchy, zero tolerance for arrogance and pomposity makes this Firm a fantastic place to work.

The Team

The Firm’s National Commercial Group is going from strength to strength and they have exciting plans for accelerated growth over the next five years. Their bold and ambitious plan is to be recognised as the pre-eminent Commercial Practice in the UK within the next 5 years.

This Firm are already well on that journey, currently having an excellent team of over 70 lawyers focused on six key service lines:

  • Commercial Contracts
  • Technology, Media & Telecoms
  • Intellectual Property
  • Financial Services
  • Privacy & Data
  • Capital Projects & Infrastructure

They are ranked in the top tier of Legal 500 and Chambers for most of their practice areas, although their intention is to have top rankings across the board.

The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a further general commercial/technology solicitor who will have the opportunity to develop within exceptional and innovative teams. On offer is the full spectrum of high quality work - the team acts for the likes of Coca-Cola European Partners and Molson Coors (Carling, Doom Bar, Rekorderlig) and many others on advising on large multinational outsourcing arrangements and complex IT projects to more routine supply arrangements and distribution and agency contracts.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate first-rate commercial experience, outstanding client service, the ability to take responsibility and a track record of being involved in business development initiatives. The Firm will consider candidates offering private practice and/or in-house backgrounds.

Equal Opportunities

This Firm is a committed Equal Opportunities employer promoting equality of opportunity. This means that everyone who either applies to or works for the Firm is treated equally, whatever their gender, age, ethnic origin, nationality, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
