The role itself is within our clients Projects, Energy and Transport team and the scope of the work on offer is very diverse due to the depth of expertise that they have within these particular sectors. This is a highly diverse role which would suit someone who likes variety and not knowing what they are going to be doing every day, someone who liked to genuinely think things through and tackle work rather than just be able to refer to precedents. For this reason they are happy to consider people from a wide variety of areas including Construction, Non Contentious Regulatory, Commercial and Real Estate, they will of course offer training but have a successful track record of bringing people in from these backgrounds, some of whom are now partners.
As the work has grown significantly over the past year, and they are on target for yet another budget smashing year they are recruiting to support this increase in work.
Within their Leeds office, the firm have specialised within the Energy of Transport sectors but broadly their clients come from some of the following sectors; Energy, Property Development, Energy Operators and they also include Regulators
They are keen to recruit someone who is able to take a substantive lead on some of their projects, but who can also form part of a team to work on some of their 'top end' matters
There is the need to deliver support to some of the more junior team members so if you are keen to develop your supervision and mentoring skills there will be plenty of opportunity to do so

They are ideally looking for someone who has between 4 and 8 years PQE however this is a guideline and candidates that fall outside of this bracket will still be considered
The firm will consider candidates from various background including Construction, Non Contentious Regulatory, Commercial or Real Estate with the intention of providing training
Candidates must have strong commercial skills including negotiating and client management
They are looking for someone who likes to be challenged and who is interested in picking up new matters and working their way through them.
