A fantastic new role has arisen in York for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded firm. The firm has a long a successful track record of offering high quality advice to businesses, families and individuals. Our client has a significant presence in Yorkshire's highly competitive legal market and are recognised as specialists at a national level in a number of legal sectors.

The firm is looking for someone who is Newly Qualified, or has up to 2 years post qualification experience. If you happen to have more experience than this and you think you could be suitable, then please don't hesitate to apply as our client is happy to have some flexibility on this requirement.

If you are a Trainee Solicitor and you are due to qualify in September, then the firm is happy to wait until then for the right candidate.

The Role:

You will be joining a solid team where plenty of support will be accessible and you will be exposed to some high quality work.

You will be handling a real mixture of Commercial Property matters. These will include Residential and Commercial Land Development, Agricultural Land Development, Commercial Landlord & Tenant matters, Freehold Sales and Purchases and Secured lending.

You will also be required to assist the senior Solicitors in the department as necessary.

The Candidate:

As mentioned, the firm is looking for a junior Commercial Property lawyer to join the team. Ideally you will be an NQ or have up to 2 years post qualification experience.

You will have done a Commercial Property seat in your Training Contract and have a genuine interest to progress and learn within this area, or already have a year or two experience handling Commercial Property files and a keenness to continue developing your skills.
