Corporate & Commercial Solicitor.

With truly unique offices and expansion rates soaring, it would be difficult to find a more welcoming, relaxing and supportive law firm in the Yorkshire county.
You will be joining an existing team of 3 (2 solicitors and a secretary), and your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
  • business client enquiries (by email and telephone)
  • drafting and reviewing contracts (demonstrate knowledge and application in the context of the client’s business/objectives)
  • negotiating terms of contracts, supporting clients to completion and post-completion actions
  • advising in respect of infringement of copyright and registered trademarks.
  • business client enquiries (by email and telephone)
  • dealing competently with director and shareholder disputes
  • advising in respect of shareholder rights, derivative actions, and unfair prejudice petitions
  • company administration (including director and general meetings, and annual and event-driven returns)
  • advising in respect of share transfers and share buy-backs
  • transaction experience (share, business and asset sales)
  • Directors duties (including in the event of insolvency)
  • Insolvency – implications for directors.
As well as working with the clients, you will also be expected to work for the employee participating in projects to develop the firm's services, support SMT, and maintain the trademark register.
This Corporate & Commercial Solicitor opportunity is full-time or part-time (no less than 3 days), and for the right legal professional offers a progression to Head of Department.
If you are based in or around Hull, a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE experience in a similar role, and are looking for an opportunity like no other, then get in touch with Tom Widdop at G2 Legal.
