Construction Solicitor

International law firm opportunity for a construction solicitor focused on the contentious side who seeks to join a top flight construction team in Manchester.

As a construction litigation solicitor, you will be part of a large and highly regarded construction team dealing with complex dispute work for international contractors, project companies, developers, public bodies, funders and insurers, in both the private and public sectors. Working closely with the top contractors globally and with a deep understanding of the entire life cycle, including procurement stages, you will handle the full remit of contentious construction work.

The role benefits from a team of top ranking partners and lawyers, as well as a structured personal development programme to truly allow you to progress as a construction solicitor.

Ideally, you will already have gained at least one year's post qualification experience in a regional heavyweight or national construction disputes team, through to around six years' PQE. However, if you feel you have the requisite technical skills and experience outside of this PQE bracket, come from a wider commercial litigation background or a smaller Legal 500 firm, applications are encouraged. You must have a genuine interest in forging a career as a construction litigation solicitor and the right talent and commercial aptitude, as well as a strong academic profile.
This is an exceptional opportunity in the current market for a 1- 6 years' PQE construction solicitor to join a globally recognised construction disputes team in Manchester.
