Legal Business Development Assistant
 
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Business Development Assistant to join a leading law firm, based in their Liverpool city centre office.  You will be working closely with the Business Development Executive, BD colleagues, and client teams to sharpen the firm's client focus. You will be delivering the wider needs of our clients through strategic client and intermediary management, collaboration, and cross-selling.
 
The focus is on supporting activities that grow the firm's market share, strengthens the brand in priority sectors, and practices, deepens our understanding of our clients and their markets, and improve coordination and information flows internally.
 
Duties include:
  • Supporting client feedback process eg managing the pipeline of planned client reviews
  • Contributing to the development of client plans
  • Supporting implementation of actions arising from UK strategic client action plans
  • Providing baseline key account support to all clients in UK business plans
  • Tracking campaign activity/marketing engagement of UK strategic clients
  • Assisting with the production of first draft pitch documents for strategic clients
  • Providing logistical support to client specific events – the creation of invitations, managing InterAction process, presentation materials, etc
  • Maintaining client specific intranet pages
  • Producing relationship statements for strategic clients
  • Encouraging use of HighQ portal as a primary channel for sharing insights, relevant content, and relationship information
  • Encouraging the use of BD investment time codes
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting progress back to the firm's management, partnership, and senior members of the Business Development team
  • Capturing and sharing secondee insights
  • Preparing internal BD activity reports and feeding into internal communication's E.g. MP updates
  • Supporting ad hoc projects, typically focused on improving efficiency, such as developing standard templates or creating best practice content for the intranet
