The Firm

A leading UK law Firm with a network of offices from the South Coast to Scotland, working together as one national team. An innovative practice and the first top 100 law firm to achieve “Gold Standard”. Investors in People, the Firm’s values and culture are not just words on their website but are the heartbeat of the Firm. The lack of barriers between departments, a real lack of hierarchy, zero tolerance for arrogance and pomposity makes this Firm a fantastic place to work.

The Team

Our client’s litigation services team have highly skilled specialists with the expertise to solve whatever contentious problem you are facing. They have over 260 litigation legal advisers based across the UK.

The team cover a broad range of specialisms including commercial litigation, contract disputes, fraud, professional negligence, public procurement challenges, insurance, IT, and lending and banking disputes.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join the Firm in their Milton Keynes office to handle a broad range of commercial disputes.

The Litigation Services team is based across several locations but works nationally as one, with support required across office and practice group. The team is well known for the responsibility, client contact and freedom it gives to its legal advisers. The team has consistently promoted lawyers year on year.

The Firm’s preferred candidate will be an ambitious and bright general commercial litigator with training from a reputable practice.  They would be interested to hear from candidates in the local market or those considering relocating to the area. This role would suit an existing associate looking for greater responsibility or a solicitor looking for the next step up in their career.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable with running their cases independently, providing supervision to juniors and working along national lines.

Equal Opportunities

This Firm is a committed Equal Opportunities employer promoting equality of opportunity. This means that everyone who either applies to or works for the Firm is treated equally, whatever their gender, age, ethnic origin, nationality, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
